Global Anglicans Moment & Prayer
Global Anglicans Moment & Prayer is an initiative for churches around the world so that each week they are kept up to date with news and a prayer item: https://www.gafcon.org/moment-and-prayer
Throughout the Gafcon churches worldwide we are looking to build up the faithful global Communion by sharing these bulletin updates in Gafcon churches' media announcements. We are seeking to have a Gafcon representative or advocate in each church who will be our point of contact for the Moment & Prayer items. If you are a church staff member and/or an active church member who is using the Moment & Prayer news then we would love to connect with you and email the weekly updates to you. Follow the updates on website and social media with the hashtag #globalmomentandprayer
Please email [email protected] if you would like to find out more and be added to the group of Gafcon Church Representatives/Advocates.

Daily prayers from around the world
Collect for the second Sunday after Christmas
In many parts of the world, lock-downs and rules restricting normal life have caused an increase in mental illness. Pray for those known to you who are struggling.
The Lord has used Anglican Missions Africa (AMA) in remarkable ways since its beginning two years ago. In 2020 they conducted training in four countries - Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Ghana.
Plans are underway for a new youth project in the Diocese of the Seychelles (in the Church of the Province of the Indian Ocean).
Anglican Missions Africa (AMA) have had a very active year. In 2022, they would like to develop the capacity for mercy ministry. To this end they are seeking to acquire a 40 ft container.
Gafcon Prayer Network. During the year we have prayed for increased numbers of prayer 'sharers' and prayer supporters. The first is certainly increased. The second is harder to measure.
United Adoration (UA) and Anglican Missions Africa (AMA) are both part of the Gafcon Global Mission Partnership Network. Thank God that both have been blessed by God in 2021.
Collect for the first Sunday of Christmas.
In June and July of 2020 we prayed for the mobile training programme for evangelists in Goma Diocese. One of the places this took place was Kibumba.
Suffering Church. The Anglican Church of the Province of Myanmar has experienced significant growth in the last ten years. However, there is also significant suffering.
In May 2020 we prayed for the overhaul of the Abuja Training College (Church of Nigeria, training for lay ministry of various kinds). Ven.
Gafcon Australia are committed to helping Anglicans in Australia who are feeling isolated and confused by recent departures from orthodox faith and practice.
'A thrill of hope
the weary soul rejoices ....
Fall on your knees ..'
Collect for the fourth Sunday in Advent
In November we prayed for the visit of Archbishop Foley Beach to the UK: that all the counsel, contacts and conversations would be helpful.
In Valparaiso Diocese, Iglesia Anglicana de Chile, they are using social media to communicate daily Advent Devotions.
