Christians in China face persecution from the Chinese Communist Party. For example, Pastor Wang Yi has a 9-year prison sentence for his outspoken faith and his defence of religious freedom. Also, Yimiti, a Uyghur Muslim convert to Jesus, who led a house church, is in prison for a 15-year sentence. Ask God for courage and continued faithfulness for these prisoners for Christ; for their families — especially for their children who are suffering great trauma at the loss of their fathers; for their congregations. And we pray for justice for their situation.
