Suffering Church, Armenia
As a result of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh (also known as Artsakh) between Armenia and Azerbaijan, around 150,000 Armenian refugees have fled into Armenia. It is winter there and refugees need shelter, food and warmth. In partnership with Christians on the ground, via Armenian Christian Mission Australia, Anglican Aid (Sydney) is providing much-needed food parcels for refugee families fleeing Artsakh.
'Lord of the nations, we pray for Christians and churches in Armenia. Please protect them, and use them to minister to the lost. Give them compassion for victims and boldness to proclaim the gospel of peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen'
