Christian Afghan refugees
10th May 2022

Christian Afghan refugees (about 120), are being sponsored by the Anglican Church in Brazil and supported by Anglican Aid, Sydney. Different churches 'adopt' families as they are able. Bishop Marcio Simoes, Diocese of Vitoria, visited the refugees in Parana State recently. Four families (around 35 people) are being adopted by his church. The prayer needs are to learn Portuguese; to become self-supporting; to integrate in the churches.
