Merciful Lord, thank you for your grace in giving skills to humans, created in your image, to develop vaccines and to organise their deployment. Please help us to put our trust first and foremost in you, rather than in a vaccine. As people around the world have been reminded of the fragility of life and the reality of death may they give humble thanks to you and seek you, the Lord of abundant life.
