We prayed for a training event for Sunday School teachers which took place in Nairobi, Kenya, Feb 26-27. At the invitation of the Anglican Church of Kenya Provincial Department of Missions, United Adoration led the training to encourage teachers to write their own songs to help communicate Bible content. Thank God for the 107 delegates from 27 dioceses who participated, and for the success of the initiative.

Thank God for his gracious hand upon the Gafcon G25 conference in Plano, Texas. Initiatives coming from G25 include the development of a theological writing group and a theological commission, and the intentional deepening of relationships through inter-provincial visits. Pray for the Lord’s help in implementing these initiatives over the coming months.

The Gafcon G25 Mini Conference is taking place in Plano, Texas, March 11 to 14 with a special focus on encouraging newer bishops in our movement. Pray for a good time of fellowship and encouragement, and for the Holy Spirit to direct and help in every part of the event.

The Gafcon Primates and regional leaders have a Council meeting on March 10 in Plano, Texas, USA. Some are able to be there in person and others are joining by video call. Pray for a helpful meeting receiving news and updates, enjoying fellowship, and prayerfully enquiring of the Lord for the way ahead.

Rev Justino and Deise are pioneering missionaries in Guinea-Bissau, supported by the Anglican Church in Brazil. Thank God for recent encouragements, and for the attendance at the the evangelism and discipleship classes. Pray that the Lord would give Justino and Deise good ideas for further evangelism strategies.

It is a month since the city of Goma, DR Congo, was attacked and occupied by M23 rebels. The city is beginning to function again. Shops, buses and schools are operating. And the churches are open and nearly full again. Thank God for financial support from Anglican mission partners. Continue to pray for stability and peace, and for the Anglican churches to help those in need, to advocate for peace, and to preach the gospel.

Bishop Flavio is bishop of the non-regional missionary diocese in the Anglican Church in Brazil. There are opportunities for church planting in the area north of Recife and Olinda but few trained evangelists. Bishop Flavio asks for prayer ‘that God will send new workers to plant churches in my region.’

Rev Bisoke ministers in the Rwampura camp for IDPs near Bunia, DR Congo, where he has established a Peace Centre. The area is volatile, with two rebel groups threatening the region. Pray for the Lord’s protection over the Peace Centre.

Anglican Missions Africa (AMA) led a school outreach mission in Bungoma Diocese, Kenya, Feb 10-14. They visited 17 schools, proclaimed the gospel to 2,068 pupils, and 1,649 were saved. Thank God for raising up AMA, for this outreach initiative, and for the response of the pupils. Pray for good follow up and discipleship in the coming months.

Moses Kimani is the United Adoration leader in Kenya, organising training events for worship leaders and song-writing workshops. The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Provincial Department of Missions has asked UA to provide training and support for Diocesan Sunday School departments. The first training event is February 26-28. Pray for the Lord’s help and blessing on the preparations and for event itself.

Bishop Flavio is bishop of the non-regional missionary diocese in the Anglican Church in Brazil. His local church is Agua Viva. They have plans to open a Christian day care centre to benefit the community. There is a problem with the bureaucratic paper work process. Please pray for things to progress smoothly and for the centre to receive the necessary approval.
