Advent Reflections

During the Four Sundays of Advent, Gafcon had posted short reflections based on a verse from the Bible to celebrate this season which is so significant for all of us who confess our faith in Christ Jesus. Today's message is the last reflection of this series. Follow us and share these messages in your churches.
John 18: 37. "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
Relative truth is the accepted norm in the modern world. But here we find a powerful statement from Jesus that reminds us of the reason he came into the world: to witness to true truth!
And this is what we celebrate today: the birth of our savior! The King! The mediator!
He is the only Way, Truth and Life!
Even if the speech of the world is that everything is relative and that there are many paths that lead to God, the speech of our Lord is something firm, sure, invariable, true and unique!
We praise God for having given us His only son, so that whoever believes in him alone will not perish but have eternal life!
Pray with us:
Our Lord and God, we praise you for sending your son! We praise you that Jesus is the unshakeable, trustworthy rock! Help us always to walk in your ways and glorify your name in everything we say and do.
In Jesus' name, Amen!
