Youth and Children’s Ministry
From the nomadic tribes of Kenya to the cities of America and all points in between, the vision of the Youth and Children’s Ministry Network is to see raised up a generation of mature, life-long disciple-making disciples of Jesus.
This will happen when we lift the profile, the priority, the worth and necessity of youth and children’s ministry among our church leaders. Youth and children’s ministry is not baby-sitting, it is gospel evangelism and intergenerational discipleship, with older people investing in the lives of younger people, just like Paul did with Timothy.
Our Network has
- A two month goal to establish an online portal for the sharing of global best practice resources to equip youth and children’s pastors,
- A three month goal to finalise a ministry manifesto outlining our network’s mission, values and goals,
- A one year goal to connect with a youth and children’s pastor from every diocese represented here in GAFCON and inviting them into our network, and
- A five year goal to see every Paul at GAFCON 2023 bringing a Timothy with them.
We want to raise the profile of young person’s ministry across the world, so that out of thousands upon thousands of bible-based, Jesus-honouring churches, we will see emerge a generation of mature, life-long, disciple-making disciples of the Lord Jesus.
