Tuesday 23rd April 2019

Pray for the Primate of All Nigeria, His Grace, the Most Rev. Nicholas D. Okoh, for a renewed strength, vision, good heath, protection and wisdom from above as he pilots the affairs of the Church of Nigeria.

Sunday 21st April 2019

Lord of all life and power,
who through the mighty resurrection of your Son
overcame the old order of sin and death
to make all things new in him:
grant that we, being dead to sin
and alive to you in Jesus Christ,
may reign with him in glory;
to whom with you and the Holy Spirit
be praise and honour, glory and might,
now and in all eternity.

Saturday 20th April 2019
The Gafcon Women’s Ministry Network

Pray for good communication amongst the senior women leaders of this network. In August, senior women leaders will be meeting in Kenya for mobilisation and strategic planning for the future of women in ministry in Gafcon.

Friday 19th April 2019

Almighty Father,
look with mercy on this your family
for which our Lord Jesus Christ
was content to be betrayed
and given up into the hands of sinners
and to suffer death upon the cross;
who is alive and glorified with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

In March, Gafcon Ireland organised three weeks of Theology Ireland. Pray that Theology Ireland will become an established annual event resourcing local churches in biblical ministry.

Give thanks for Brian Haugh, the Operations Manager for Gafcon Ireland. Pray that he will be given wisdom as he continues to help with the practicalities of establishing Gafcon Ireland for the long term.

Tuesday 16th April 2019

Jacob Katiro writes: Pray for God's divine intervention in my country Zimbabwe. Cyclone Idai has killed many people and many are missing. The country endures biting economic instability with prices more than doubling every month and the trend continues unabated. Pray for divine wisdom for our Church leadership (REACHSA) to steer the institution forward in this turbulent environment and to be bold in church planting initiatives. Pray for God's provision to enable the Church to penetrate the poverty-stricken communities.

Monday 15th April 2019
South Sudan

The Episcopal Church of South Sudan launched a Church founded University known as "The Episcopal University" on March 30th. Pray for this University to provide good quality education so that the Church can play its part in providing stability, peace and development in South Sudan.

Pray for full implementation of the revitalized peace agreement by the conflicting parties in South Sudan.

Sunday 14th April 2019

Almighty and everlasting God,
who in your tender love towards the human race
sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ
to take upon him our flesh
and to suffer death upon the cross:
grant that we may follow the example
of his patience and humility,
and also be made partakers of his resurrection;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
